Represent Montreal in the biggest meditation of North American history celebrating peace, acceptance & diversity July 24th.

For Immediate Release - July 10th, 2019, Montreal, QC

Join thousands of people from all walks of life, religions, ages, races, genders and political persuasions in celebration of non-violence, peace, diversity and acceptance July 24th from 4-11PM as part of the largest meditation in North American history.

On July 24th from 4-6PM the Montreal chapter of the Art Of Living Foundation will present their work in support of peace and diversity that has touched our local native, youth and corporate populations. There will be a short practice held at the Crew Collective & Café before a celebration at Square Victoria if weather permits, featuring a dj, local like minded organizations and a live stream of the Colorado event. Montreal, alongside the other participant North American Cities, will be  represented in a feed on the America Meditates main stage!

The mass meditation that expects thousands of people, will be guided by SriSri Ravi Shankar at 9:30pm local time.

“If people can get access to inner peace then outer peace is a reality. Peace is not just absence of conflict or absence of violence, it is a positive phenomena inside of us. Inner peace is the key for world peace.” - Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

SriSri Ravi Shankar founded The Art Of Living Foundation and the International Association of Human Values (IAHV). The IAHV will host its Inaugural National Summit on Mental Health and Fitness in Denver, CO on July 22-25, 2019. The Summit will conclude on July 24th with the largest meditation event in U.S. history in Denver’s City Park bringing together community, raising awareness and inspiring the public to stand together for better mental well-being. Research has shown that when even a small percentage of the population meditates simultaneously, the effect radiates out, generating a culture of peace that elevates the health and well-being of the entire population.

American Author, Writer, and Activist and Presidential candidate for 2020, Marianne Williamson will be opening the conference. Expert speakers at the Summit include Tim Ryan, Congressman and Presidential candidate OH-13; Dr Nata Menabde, Executive Director, World Health Organization Office at the United Nations and many more.

The greater the numbers, the greater the impact. Help put Montreal on the map for this historic gathering!
